The type 285 ceiling housings is an all steel vandal resist-

ant enclosure, with rear hinge and front key lock. The

camera and lens can be adjusted in all three axes.

The 506 housing is speciﬁcally designed to accommodate

a range of CCD cameras. The enclosure incorporates a

removable top cover for camera access, similar to our

515 housing.

Units are constructed from pretreated steel sheet,

powder coated and stoved. The standard speciﬁcation

includes a heater, two cable glands, adjustable camera

platform and stainless steel ﬁxings throughout.

Environmental protection is to IP65.
